A Long Time Ago...
LEGO STAR WARS
I was hired by the LEGO Company in 2003 as a designer in their Story IP division and one of the first properties I worked on was LEGO Star Wars. One of the most influential sagas of my youth, it was a dream come true to design sets for both the original and prequel trilogies.

2004 - 2006 MODELS
Between 2004 and 2006, I worked on numerous LEGO Star Wars models. The sets listed below are those for which I was the sole designer and had full responsibility after completing my building apprenticeship. A list of the models I worked on with my mentors can be found further down this page.
6967 | Mini ARC-170 Starfighter - The Arc Starfighter from Episode III was a mini model designed for LEGO's "promotional" polybag line.
6205 | V-Wing Fighter - My V-Wing model from Episode III was a delicate balance between design and budget, and it became my first boxed set to reach store shelves.
6206 | TIE Interceptor - After the V-Wing, I was given the opportunity to design a higher-priced set: the TIE Fighter from the original trilogy. This was one of the last models I worked on for the LEGO Star Wars team and was released in 2006.
THEMES CONCEPT ART
Over the years, I’ve created character, vehicle, and environment art for the LEGO Star Wars universe, as well as contributed brainstorm ideation for new product lines like the Microfighters and Microfigs sets.
THE OUTRIDER | 6211 B MODEL
When given the opportunity to design my first B model for the 6211 LEGO Imperial Star Destroyer set, I knew I wanted to create something unique. Having been a huge fan of the N64 Shadows of the Empire video game, I thought it would be fun to acknowledge the more dedicated Star Wars fans by designing The Outrider, Dash Rendar's iconic ship from the Star Wars expanded universe.
Now, the real challenge with any LEGO B model is that you're limited to the pieces included in the A model set. While I would have loved to add extreme detail, I had to get creative to make it work. In the end, I'm quite proud of what I was able to achieve given the scale I chose to work at and the resources available to me. APPRENTICE SETS
New LEGO designers are paired with a master builder, much like Yoda, who mentors them in the proper processes and guidelines for creating LEGO models. The models in this section are the first sets I worked on during my apprenticeship. My contributions include creating concept art for set features, assisting with model building, and providing 3D model inputs for the newly implemented (2004) digital building instructions systems.
7261 | Clone Turbo Tank - This was my first apprenticeship model, where I helped conceptualize playset features. Below are some of my early, marker-on-paper concept sketches created for the Star Wars team.
6209 | Slave I - My focus on this model was on play features and helping build refined versions of the ship's silhouette, as the previous version had a notably shortened turret section.
7257 | Ultimate Lightsaber Duel - For this model, I assisted my teammate Bjarge by reading the film script and creating concept artwork to visualize action scenarios and potential playset features, as we lacked key visual references from Lucasfilm at the time.
